There are some crew heading up in a rented bus. They're keen to get some waves on the trip. The departure date will depend on the swell situation, but they're expecting to get up there by Thursday Feb 4th. Get in contact with Lovey or Mick Allanson if you're keen to join in and support your club. -

Prices: $70 membership, but for each extra family member it's $50. $25 for super–groms and $20 for non–surfing social memberships. -

Some other things to keep in mind
We didn't end up having a Treachery trip last year and maybe it would be a good idea to have one early this year. If you're keen, get in contact with a committee member and let them know. Also, any t–shirt designs for the 2010 club shirt need to be in by the end of the month. Either give them to a committee member in person or email them.
A bloke called Steve Riley has put up a website at AvocaBeach.info and says:
“There are about 20,000 shots on there and I have another 80,000 to add… just burning my bandwidth at the moment… take a look if you surf, could be some of you, cheers.”
Steve has been shooting some long sequences of waves at the point and up the beach. There's a good chance there will be a few shots of you somewhere up there. Here's a link to the gallery if you have trouble finding it (I did).
