June comp
Hey all, amazing weather for our June comp, though the waves never came good until the finals. The day seemed to run well for the most part and a few quiet ales were enjoyed back at our humble abode (with the big toilets attached). Thanks again to Ronnie who cooked his little butt off and was rewarded with the lucky door prize. He is going to shout us all wax so hit him up.
Don't forget to bring your Ipods or we're going to play Talking Heads all day. The construction committee are building a podium with a pole for coming events. This is my first news letter, so if you have any complaints, too bad.

Judging
The judging is slowly getting there, but for the next contest we will be trying something new. As you head off to judge you will need to collect a folder and a judging sheet from the tent, these will already be filled in and ready to go. If you are a red or white from your last heat you will always judge the north bank and yellow and blue will judge the south bank clear as mud right? Take your time judging and be responsible, because you wouldn't like to get shafted so don't do it to anyone else (naughty boys).
