The last comp scheduled for Sunday didn't go ahead. The waves didn't show up. Due to the Monkey comp and Dave Ward memorial comp, the October competition has been canned and the next one will be November's. I'm unsure about the date, but I'll find out soon and put it up.
In other news, Adrian Buchan got to the semi's in Mundaka, narrowly missing out on the finals after Parko scored a wave in the last minute or two. CJ Hobgood ended up doing that to Parko in the final to score the title. And, Kelly Slater has once again proven his gnarliness by snatching his 9th world title. Fancy having the record for most ASP world titles, youngest world title winner and oldest world title winner!
